Community Service
Blood Drives
Three times a year, Sumner High School FCCLA holds school-wide blood drives with Cascade Regional Blood Services. At our last Blood Drive, we had 58 donors. We thank these students for giving their time to do good things for the community where it is needed most. Acts like these are what make Sumner High School so great and make us one of the leading high schools for donation services. Thank you, Donors!

We would like to thank Cascade Regional Blood Services and Bloodworks Northwest for partnering with us in the hosting of these blood drives through providing support by sharing informational materials, permission slips, coordination of buses, nurses, and more. We would not be able to host these drives without Cascade Regional Blood Services or Bloodworks Northwest!
Cancer Research Advocacy and Awareness
This year our chapter has worked to raise funds for Childhood Cancer research and raise awareness of its importance. These efforts include hosting a booth at SHS's homecoming football game dedicated to sharing the importance of childhood cancer research with members of our community, fundraisers, and more. We would like to thank the St. Baldrick's Foundation for their efforts in advocating for and advancing childhood cancer research, and for allowing us to work with them in our process of advocacy and fundraising for childhood cancer research.
